NA speaker refuses to appoint opposition leader from PTI

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has refused to appoint the opposition leader from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
According to sources, the speaker replied to the PTI delegation that he had accepted the resignation of their 35 MNAs.
"The LHC verdict should not be misinterpreted. A majority of the opposition has to be proved in the assembly to remove the opposition leader," he told the PTI delegation.
A PTI delegation led by Amir Dogar had called on the speaker. Kanwal Shozab, Sajida Begum, Amir Kayani, Asma Hadeed, Amjad Niazi, Zil-e-Huma, Shaukat Bhatti and Fayyazullah Kamoka and Khurram Shahzad were also present.
