NA speaker to write to CJP for calling 3-member bench to privilege committee: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will write a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial for calling the three-member bench to the privilege committee.

Expressing his views in 92 News Programme 'Breaking Views With Malick' on Wednesday, he said that the decision on calling the judges will be made in response to the reply of the chief justice.

Rana Sanaullah said that according to the rules, the three judges can be summoned to the privilege committee. "We hope that the chief justice will listen to the assembly and his response will be positive," he added.
