NA Standing Committee reviews Cyber Crime Bill amendments

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly's Standing Committee on Information Technology has on Friday reviewed the amendments to the Cyber Crime Bill proposed by Asiya Nasir. National Assembly's Standing Committee on Information Technology held a meeting in Islamabad on Friday chaired by Captain Safdar. The committee member Asiya Nasir said that the crimes through mobiles have increased and women are the main target. The Committee Chairman Captain Safdar said that the women are being blackmailed through pictures. The Committee postponed the Telegraph (Amendment) Bill until next meeting for further review, while the FIA was directed to brief the committee regarding Gray Trafficking.
