NA unanimously passes 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly unanimously passed the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill on Monday. Of the 342-member House, 278 members supported the bill. No member opposed the bill. Later, the House passed the bill section-wise as well. After the passage of the bill from the Senate, the National Assembly seats of the FATA will increase from six to 12, while Provincial Assembly seats will rose to 24 from 16. Independent MNA Mohsin Dawar presented the bill in the National Assembly.
