NA unanimously passes resolution to pay tributes to Dr AQ Khan, Pervaiz Malik & Umar Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution to pay tributes to the late nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Kha, PML-N leader Pervaiz Malik and legendary comedian Umar Sharif.

MNA Ali Muhammad Khan presented the resolution to pay tribute to them.

Expressing his views in the House, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif said that a former government had censured Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. "The nation seeks an apology over the treatment meted out to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan," he added.

PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ahsraf said that whatever happened with Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan should have not been done.

During the session, NA Speaker Asad Qaisar, the PML-N and other parties termed the death of Pervaiz Malik a big loss.

Later, Fateha was offered for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pervaiz Malik and Umar Sharif.
