NA unanimously passes resolution to write Khatamun Nabiyyin with Hazrat Muhammad (SAW)

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution to must write Khatamun Nabiyyin with Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The resolution was presented by State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan. Teh resolution demanded that the name of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) should be written as 'Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatamun Nabiyyin Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam” in all official and non-official documents. In another resolution, the House recommended that the speech of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to the Constituent Assembly on the August 11, 1947 regarding minorities should also be made a part of the syllabus. Earlier, the National Assembly passed the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) bill, 2020. It was moved by Minister for Law Farogh Naseem. Expressing his views on the floor of the House, Law Minister Farogh Naseem said that it is a historic day that the FATF-related legislation is being carried out with consensus in the larger interest of the country. "Whitening the economy and checking terror financing is important to take the country forward on the path of development. It is also our aim to simplify the legislation and ensure protection of fundamental rights of the people," he said. The House has also passed the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2020, the Control of Narcotic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2020 and Islamabad Capital Territory Trust Bill, 2020.
