NAB approves to bring Hassan, Hussain back through Interpol

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) On Thursday accorded approval to bring Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, the sons of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, back to Pakistan with the Interpol’s assistance. Talking to the journalists, NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that the accountability body has approved repatriation of Hassan and Hussain Nawaz through Interpol. Javed Iqbal said that none is above than the law, the looted money of the country will be taken back at any cast. He also said that the NAB does not have any political motives and is not out to target any political party. “Politicians can run election campaign but when summoned before NAB, they should appear before the bureau,” he added. On Tuesday, the NAB has decided to bring back former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hassan and Hussain and Ishaq Dar through the Interpol. Ali Imran, son-in-law of Shehbaz Sharif, will also be brought back through the Interpol. On the other hand, the three-member committee of the Interior Ministry has completed its report over the issue of placing the names of the Sharif family on the exit control list. The caretaker cabinet will make the final decision on placing the names of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar on the ECL. The NAB has thrice written the letters to the Interior Ministry to put the names of Sharif family on the ECL. The caretaker cabinet meeting is expected in a couple of days.
