NAB approves inquiries against Omni Group, 16 others

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved 17 inquiries in the fake account case, including Omni Group, on Tuesday.

The meeting was presided over by NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal.

Speaking on the occasion, NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that it was top priority of the NAB to take the money laundering cases to logical conclusion.

He said that the NAB had brought to justice such people who could not be held accountable in the past. "The NAB has recovered Rs 535 billion directly or indirectly from the corrupt during the last three years, which is a record achievement," he declared.

The NAB chairman said that the NAB highly values the services of the business community for the progress of the country.
