NAB approves new inquiries against 14 people

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) approved new inquiries against 14 people. The decision was made during a meeting of the Executive Board chaired by NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Thursday. The inquiries will be initiated against Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Agha Siraj Durrani, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, Iqbal Z Ahmed and Imtiaz Malah. Meanwhile, the NAB also approved to file new references against three people, including Sultan Hanjra and Ch Mukhtar. Addressing the meeting, NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that it is top priority of the government to deal with the mega corruption cases. “The NAB is strictly following the policy of ‘Accountability for All’,” he maintained.
