NAB arrest PML-N candidate Qamarul Islam in Saaf Pani scam

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested PML-N candidate Qamarul Islam in the Saaf Pani Company scam on Monday. Qamarul Islam is the PML-N candidate against Ch Nisar in NA-59. He has been shifted to Lahore from Rawalpindi. The NAB Lahore has also arrested Saaf Pani Company CEO Waseem Ajmal. The NAB spokesperson said that Qamarul Islam had been arrested in the corruption of over Rs one billion. On the other hand, Ch Nisar has condemned the arrest of Qamarul Islam. He said that such steps could make the elections controversial.
