NAB chairman orders to investigate ATM fraud

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Taking notice of the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) fraud, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal ordered to investigate the matter. The NAB chairman issued a statement regarding the matter of blocking ATM cards and using the name of NAB for fraud. Javed Iqbal revealed that ATM card users are being called to contact on some fake numbers to record their information. “The people are also being tricked by saying that NAB or other relevant departments would soon speak to them regarding ATM issue,” he added. The NAB chairman further assured to take action against those maligning the name of the anti-corruption watchdog with fake calls.
