NAB court adjourns hearing of Al-Azizia corruption over Kulsoom’s death

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Accountability Court adjourned the hearing of Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference till tomorrow without any proceeding on Wednesday here. Accountability Court II Judge Arshad Malik heard the case. On the opening of the hearing, Nawaz Sharif's counsel Khawaja Haris told the court Nawaz Sharif is in Lahore on parole to attend the funeral prayer of his wife late Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. He prayed the court to adjourn the hearing without any further proceeding. Judge Malik remarked that Begum Kulsoom was a national figure and it was not appropriate to continue with the proceedings today. The hearing was then adjourned till Thursday. Khawaja Haris will continue cross-examination on JIT Chief Wajid Zia tomorrow.
