NAB denies reports about affecting of cases due to new law

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has denied the reports about affecting of the cases due to the new law.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday, the NAB spokesman said that scutiny, inquiries and investigations of complaints are underway at regional bureaus as per law. "The NAB chairman has said that news is concatory, baseless and opposite to the truth.”

He said that in last four years accountabiliy of 1,194 accused was held because of the effective pursual of teh NAB. "On the basis of authentic evidences, accountability courts convicted the accused as per law. The media should avoid the baseless proparganda against the NAB," he added.
