NAB determined to eliminate corruption: Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that the NAB is determined to root out corruption. Addressing the officers through the video link on Thursday, he said that the NAB is following the policy of corruption-free Pakistan. “The standard of inquiry and investigation will improve with the establishment of the forensic science laboratory,” he said. He said that 70 percent accused are convicted in the accountability courts. “We are performing the duty of eliminating corruption as a national duty,” he said. The NAB chairman said that the Quaid-e-Azam had declared corruption and nepotism as big evils. “There is need to deal corruption with an iron hand. We will double our efforts to bring the corrupt to justice,” he maintained.
