NAB Executive Board approves filing of three references

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Executive Board approved the filing of three references on Wednesday.

The decision was made during a meeting presided over by Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal.

The NAB approved a reference against Khawaja Anwar Majeed and others who face the allegations of corruption and money laundering, causing a loss of Rs340 million to the national kitty.

A reference was approved against Syed Arif Khan and others of M/s Canal View for allegedly cheating the general public, causing a loss of Rs266 million to the national exchequer.

The third reference has been approved against Balochistan Development Authority former chairman Sadat Anwar for having assets beyond known sources of income.

Meanwhile, the meeting also approved three inquires against different people on the charges of corruption.
