NAB gets key record of Metro Bus project in probe against Ahad Cheema

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore National Accoutability Bureau (NAB) obtained key record of Orange Line train in Lahore, Metro and Rawalpindi Bus project during investigation against Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) former director general Ahad Khan Cheema. As per reports, the NAB get the important record of mega projects in probe against the Ahad Cheema in the Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam. The NAB also has received the documentary evidence of certified audit objections regarding mega projects. NAB had written letter to Mass Transit Authority’s General Manager for the provision of record. Case against Ahad Cheema and other suspects will be taken forward after reviewing the reports. The Lahore Metro bus project was completed in the era of Cheema while he also played a pivotal role in Orange Line project. The NAB Chairman has also ordered an inquiry into Orange Line project scam.
