NAB inquiry: Zahir Mir resigns as OGDCL Managing Director

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Managing Director Zahid Mir resigned from his post on Monday after his name was included in the Exit Control List (ECL) by the authorities. Mir has been facing NAB’s inquiry into the allegations of misuse of authority and embezzlement in funds. The company’s board of directors (BoDs) accepted his resignation today. Mir will relinquish his charge on July 31. NAB is currently investigating Mir regarding use of CSR funds and his appointment as Chief Operating Officer. Mir’s name was also put on ECL on the request of the anti-graft body.
