NAB Ordinance introduced to conceal theft of government: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the NAB Ordinance has been introduced to conceal the theft of the government.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that they would challenge the ordinance in the Senate and court and strategy would be devised in the PDM meeting on October 18.

The PML-N leader said that the prime minister and the ministers are paying full attention to extend the tenure of the NAB chairman. "The government has nothing to do with the inflation and country's conditions," he added.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the NAB chairman had retired and no consultation was done. "The economy is destroying and the government is careless about the plight of the people," he added.

He said that the government had not tried to decrease the inflation and unemployment. "Though the PPP is part of the opposition, but not part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)," he added.
