RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Rawalpindi National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday re-summoned Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala in the fake accounts case on July 9. He has been directed to appear before the NAB and record his statement. Saleem Mandviwala had written a letter to the NAB seeking postponement of the hearing. Sources said that Mandviwala had decided to appear before the NAB on the next date of hearing. Mandviwalla was summoned for questioning in relation to the ongoing fake bank accounts and illegal allotments investigations being carried out by the anti-graft watchdog of the country. On the other hand, Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala said that all should be held accountable. “It should not mean political revenge,” he added. He said that he believes in democracy and transparency. “I belong to a family having a lot of lawyers and businessmen,” he added. Mandviwala said that he respect all courts.
