NAB reference declares allotment of alternate lands to Bahria Town illegal

KARACHI (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has completed the investigations into allotment of alternate lands to Bahria Town in Karachi, declaring it illegal. The reference has been sent to the NAB chairman for approval, which will be filed after approval. The reference has held 28 people, including Sindh former chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Malik Riaz and his son Zain Malik, responsible for the illegal allotment. NAB raids at Bahria Town Karachi, siezes key documents On the other hand, the NAB has summoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and former CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah for investigations next week. However, they have expressed their ignorance about the NAB summons. “We will give a reply according to the law after receiving the notice,” they said. SC seeks complete land allotment records of Bahria Town Rawalpindi Sources in the NAB said that the Malir River land was allotted illegally to Bahria Town under the exchange policy.
