Won't run away like Imran Khan from Punjab Assembly if lost election: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that NAB's circus is still going on.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Chairman of NAB has gone home. “If anyone questions him, he tries to save his life by making various excuses. The atrocities committed by these people will have to be answered.”

“Today I asked the court to tell me what my crime is? The prosecution is also unable to tell. I asked the court whether money laundering can be done on the money that has been taxed, the answer is neither with NAB nor with the court” he added.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that what will happen to former Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal's money laundering. “My challenge to this man is to put his assets in front of the public. If you are really a demander of accountability, put your assets before the people of this country so that they know what your position is.”

He said that they would not run away from the Punjab Assembly like Imran Khan if they lost the election. 

“I have said many times to abolish this institution, as long as this institution exists, no officer will work,” he concluded.
