ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has observed that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should tell court whether it wants to continue the case against PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari or not.

Reprimanding the NAB for constituting the reference against Asif Zardari without evidence on Thursday, Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that the NAB is accused of political engineering because it has no case. "The NAB holds all accountable and it should be held accountable as well. Should we not hold the NAB responsible for wasting the time of court," it observed.

Justice Athar Minallah remarked that if the NAB admits mistake then NAB chairman will be held responsible. He observed that the NAB has nothing to prove and everything is put on the court.

He ordered the NAB prosecutor general to satisfy it on the next date of hearing.
