SUKKUR (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched an inquiry against PPP MNA Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar, former provincial minister for sports. Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar faces the charges of corruption and misuse of power during the previous tenure of the PPP. The NAB has also demanded record from the Ghotki deputy commissioner. Moreover, the NAB has also tightened the noose around Special Assistant to CM Bangal Mehar for giving 136 acres of land to his brother Muhammad Bakhash Mehar. On September 19, the Rawalpindi and Sukkur NAB had jointly arrested PPP leader from his residence at Bani Gala, Islamabad. Khursheed Shah faces the charge of possessing assets beyond known sources of income and having ‘benami’ properties. The NAB had summoned Khurshid Shah, but he excused from appearing before the NAB. After his arrest, the PML-N and the PPP boycotted the National Parliamentary Conference.
