NAB starts probe into mega corruption scam in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation

KARACHI (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started a probe into corruption worth billions of rupees in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. An inquiry has been started against Senior Director Masood Alam for paying over Rs 300 million in the purchase of Snorkel. The NAB has obtained the record of the amount released under the head of Municipal Services. Sources said that the Director Municipal Services got changed the approved PC-I in the snorkel purchase case. The NAB officials have demanded the record of chemicals and firefighting foam purchased in the Fire Brigade Department.
