NAB starts probe against Musharraf for possessing assets beyond income

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched a probe against former president Pervez Musharraf for possessing assets disproportionate to his known income. The probe has been started on the complaint of Col (retd) Inamur Rahim. The complainant stated that Musharraf had made assets beyond his known source of income in the country and abroad. “According to the FBR, Musharraf has not even paid the tax,” he added. The NAB has also asked the complainant to give evidence in this regard. Sources said that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had authorized the NAB to conduct investigations against Pervez Musharraf.
