NAB summons Sindh chief minister in fake accounts case

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi on Wednesday summoned Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah in fake bank accounts and solar light project cases. The anti-graft watchdog summoned the chief minister in third time in Rawalpindi office. He had appeared before the NAB one time earlier. According to the sources, the chief minister was instructed to turn up before its joint investigation team tomorrow at 11am. The sources also said that he will be interrogated into a case pertaining to the multi-billion fake bank accounts scam and alleged embezzlement in a solar light project. He has been accused of illegally awarding contracts for purchase and distribution of solar lights in Sindh. The sources also stated that Murad Ali Shah decided to appear before Rawalpindi NAB office. He will likely to leave for Rawalpindi today.
