NAB team grills Sindh CM in Roshan Sindh Program case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A combined investigation team headed by DG NAB Rawalpindi Irfan Mangi of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) grilled Sindh Chief (CM) Minister Murad Ali Shah in fake bank accounts and Roshan Sindh Program corruption cases. Murad Ali Shah appeared before a combined investigation team headed by DG NAB for questioning in a graft case. Murad Ali Shah answered 28 questions of the anti-graft watchdog. Speaking to the journalists after appearance, he said that he submitted all the answers of questions asked by the bureau, adding that nothing had done wrong the project. The Sindh chief minister had excused himself from appearing before bureau after which he was re-summoned on July 8. Earlier, the NAB Rawalpindi has recovered Rs298.76 million in the corruption of Sindh Roshan program. Four suspects and two companies have entered into plea bargains with the corruption watchdog body. The four suspects named in the case who have entered into plea bargains are Abdul Sattar Qureshi ex-director-general of the RDD who returned Rs8 million, Abdul Rasheed Channa, ex-DAO of the RDD who returned Rs5.3 million, Aslam Pervaiz Memon, Ex-XEN of the RDD who returned Rs2.5 million and Baldev, a technical director who returned Rs0.6 million. The companies are Wadood Engineering Services Pvt Limited, which returned Rs218.11 million and Zafar Enterprises and Sher M Mugheri (JV), which returned Rs64.25 million.
