Nabeel Gabol quits MQM, resigns from National Assembly

KARACHI (92 News) – Nabeel Gabol resigned from National Assembly and also quit Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), 92 News reported on Tuesday. Talking to media, Gabol said he was misfit in the MQM but also denied any differences with the party. He said he sent his resignation to MQM’s leadership 15 days ago. Gabol vowed that he will return to politics at the right time. In response to a question, he also hinted at joining another political party. Nabeel Gabol has served as Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Minister with his most notable contribution being the formal inauguration of the Gwadar Port in December 2008. He joined MQM after resigning from PPP on developing differences with Asif Ali Zardari in March 2013.
