NADRA employees stage sit-in in front of Headquarter

KARACHI (92 News) – Employees of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) staged a sit-in in front of the Headquarter for not being given representation in the regional committee on Thursday. As per reports, the employees of 56 centers halted their official duties to stage a protest in front of the Headquarter. The protestors barged into the headquarter but were pushed out. This resulted in the conversion of the protest into a sit in. The protesters were of the view that the issues of promotions, appointments and transfers are not solved if the committee has no employee-representation. “We request the prime minister and the chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the situation,” one of the protester said. "We will continue the sit-in till our demands are met."
