Naeemul Haq should avoid political tweets: Fawad Ch

LAHORE (92 News) – Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry advised Prime Minister’s Advisor Naeemul Haq that he [Naeemul Haq] should avoid political tweet. In an Interview with 92 News at Night Edition Program, the minister said that the PM’s adviser does not know about the real data and information. “Naeemul Haq should stay away from the political tweet,” he added. “Prime Minister Imran Khan is a wise man and he does not evaluate the persons on behalf of ‘new or old’ in the party,” Fawad Chaudhry mentioned. “This is an impression of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party that the persons – who are not elected members of the assembly – are being more importance in the government,” he further elaborated. The information expressed his opinion in the program of Night Edition which will be broadcasted at 10pm on Sunday (today).
Fawad Chaudhry refutes reports about his resignation
Earlier a week, Fawad Chaudhry refuted the reports about his resignation. He said that he has clearly reservations on the matter of Pakistan Television (PTV) Managing Director (MD) but the final decision will be from the prime minister. To a question about Naeemul Haq has said that your resignation letter has reached to the PM’s Office, Fawad Chaudhry said that Naeemul Haq doesn’t know anything.
Rift surfaces within government over PTV matter
Earlier, divisions and rifts within the ministers’ of the government surfaced as Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq said that all the newcomers in PTI must understand and follow the philosophy of Imran Khan. In series of tweet, Naeemul Haq strongly criticized pointing finger at Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry. “The Prime Minister has full confidence in the Board of PTV and it’s management and believes PTV should be an independent organisation like BBC and the government will take all steps necessary towards that end,” he tweeted. In another tweet, Naeemul Haq said, “It has always been the philosophy of PMIK to focus on institutional development which can become the basis of national development. The PM is determined to change the national landscape in every sphere by making all national institutions autonomous and professionally managed.” Meanwhile, the PM adviser indirectly quoting the minister harshly said in his tweet, “All the newcomers in PTI must understand and follow the philosophy of Imran Khan. PTI is a strong ideological movement and its success has been due to steadfast determination of its leader to pursue justice and fairness. Anyone thinking otherwise has no future in the party.”
Fawad responds to Naeemul Haq
Fawad Chaudhry reacted to Special Assistant to Naeemul Haq’s statement by tweeting a couplet of Ghalib. To which, Chaudhry he responded by tweeting Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib’s couplet. The rift between the two is surfaced in public comments, Fawad Chaudhry said some special assistants and advisers to the prime minister were backing the Pakistan Television managing director who was taking a huge salary package despite the financial crisis PTV was facing.The minister said the bleak financial condition of PTV was clear to everybody. “We are not able to pay [monthly] pensions amounting to a few thousand rupees, but at the same time, a senior person was netting more than Rs2.5 million per month. This is unfair.”
