Naeemul Haque’s absentee funeral prayer to be held at PM’s House today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The absentee funeral prayers of Naeemul Haque, one of the senior-most members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who passed away Saturday night, will be held at Prime Minister’s House today (Monday). Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the funeral prayer of his late and close friend. The special prayer would be offered for the departed soul of founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Naeemul Haque. The federal ministers, advisers, PTI leadership and family members of late Naeemul Haque would attend the prayer. This was confirmed by Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashif Awan in a tweet. She said that the special prayer would be offered for the departed soul of founding member of PTI at Prime Minister House in Islamabad today. She said Prime Minister Imran Khan, federal ministers, advisors, PTI leadership and family members of late Naeemul Haque would attend the prayer. Naeemul Haque, one of the senior-most members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who passed away Saturday night, was laid to rest at Gizri Graveyard of Phase 4 DHA on Sunday. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and members of national and provincial assembly were present when Naeemul Haque was laid to rest. Earlier, the funeral prayers of PTI stalwart were offered at Masjid Ayesha at Khyaban-e-Ittehad in DHA Karachi after Asr prayers. Minister for Interior Ijaz Shah and Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan visited the house of Naeemul Haq before the funeral and have condoled his sad demise with his family. A large number of people including the federal ministers and PTI leaders attended the funeral ceremony of Naeemul Haq. The PTI stawlart, founder of PTI, had been battling cancer for the last two years. Haque, a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan, passed away at the age of 70 in Karachi. A banker and businessman by profession and one of the co-founders of the ruling party, Haque was instrumental in promoting positive change in Pakistan as part of the PTI’s ideology. On Saturday, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq passed away. Naeemul Haq, a cancer patient, was admitted to Agha Khan University Hospital a few days ago.
