Naqeeb murder case: SC deadline ends to arrest ex-SSP Rao Anwaar

KARACHI (92 News) – The police are still clueless even after the expiry of the Supreme Court’s deadline to arrest former SSP Rao Anwaar on Tuesday. The police conducted a raid on the house of Rao Anwaar’s residence in Islamabad. However, he could not be arrested. On the other hand, relatives of the people killed along with Naqeebullah have also appeared and demanded action against former SSP. Ishaq’s brother said that the police in civvies and Elite Force uniform had picked his brother 14 months ago. He denied that his brother was involved in terrorism. SSP Malir Adeel Chandio said that both brothers were arrested from Punjab and the case will be registered in Punjab. Meanwhile, the person putting head money of Rao Anwaar was produced in a court in Rawalpindi.
