Narcotics recovery case: Rana Sanaullah’s judicial remand extended till Dec 21

LAHORE (92 News) – Anti-Narcotics Court Judge Shakir Hussain extended the judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah till December 21 in the heroin recovery case on Saturday. However, Rana Sanaullah could not be produced in court due to law and order. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) failed to produce the challan in the court. DSP Sarfraz Khan submitted a report regarding failure to produce Rana Sanaullah in court. On November 30, Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Judge Shakir Hassan extended the judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah till December 14. Rana Sanaulluh’s lawyers had a scuffle with the police throughout the hearing. They also boycotted the court proceedings. The police had stopped Rana Sanaullah’s lawyers from entering court. Earlier, he was presented before court from Camp Jail. On July 1, the ANF Lahore had arrested PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah near Sukheke. He was shifted to ANF Cantonment Office for interrogation. His medical examination was conducted in the ANF custody. ANF Commander Brig Khalid Mahmood supervised the arrest. Sources said that Rana Sanaullah had left Faisalabad for Lahore at 1pm and the contact with him was made last time near Sukheke. “A huge quantity of contrabands was also recovered from the vehicle of Rana Sanaullah. Its quantity could be up to 15kg,” they said.
