Earlier, IHC’s acting chief justice Aamer Farooq announced the reserved verdict and barred the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest Nasir Janjua. On the other hand, the FIA had opposed the bail plea of Janjua. The court directed Nasir Janjua to approach concerned forum for pre-arrest bail. However, the Cybercrime wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team was also present in the premises of the court. It is pertinent to mention here that Nasir Janjua was alleged for giving threat and bribe offer worth of billions rupees to Judge Arshad Malik. He is also considered close aide of former premier Nawaz Sharif. On July 18, FIA has lodged an first information report (FIR) against arrested main suspect Mian Tariq, others in Judge Arshad Malik’s video scandal.
