Nation celebrating 69th Independence Day with traditional zeal and fervor

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The nation is celebrating Independence Day with traditional zeal and fervor pledging afresh to make the country a true Islamic welfare state as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The day started with the 31 gun salute in the federal capital and 21 gun salute at the provincial capitals. Special prayers have been offered for the prosperity, integrity and solidarity of the country. Magnificent display of fireworks was carried out throughout the country. Traditional dances have been displayed, while national songs are being played in the every hook and corner of the country.
