Nation will salute its martyrs, families on Defence & Martyrs Day: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that the nation will remember and salute its martyrs and their families in a befitting manner on Defence and Martyrs Day on September 6. According to a press release, a planning conference was held at ISPR. He said that the Ministry of Information and ISPR are in a joint coordinating role to observe the day with fervour. The DG ISPR said that a planning conference was held at ISPR. “Representatives from civil society, media and armed forces attended the conference,” he said. According to the ISPR, the main ceremony in this regard will be held at GHQ. The details of the martyrdom will be written on the portraits of each martyr. Meanwhile, portraits of the martyrs will be displayed at shopping malls, buses, trucks and private vehicles. On the other hand, a new promo has been released with regard to the Defence and Martyrs Day.
