National Assembly: Opposition walks out over non-payment of funds to women members

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Members of the Opposition staged a walk-out on Tuesday over the non-payment of funds to female members of the Parliament. Speaking on the occasion, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly said that it is a shame that female members are being treated in such a manner. “I will return all my funds if the female members are not handed over their funds,” he threatened. Meanwhile, addressing the House, Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif said that only those provinces which pay their dues will receive electricity this year.
