Speaker Asad Qaisar adjourns NA session for no-confidence motion till 4pm on Monday

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar adjourned the session convened for the no-confidence motion till 4pm on March 28.

The House was adjourned soon after offering Fateha for the departed souls of MNA Khayal Zaman, former president Rafique Tarar and those killed in recent acts of terrorism in the country.

In his remarks, Speaker Asad Qaisar said that it is the parliamentary tradition to adjourn the House after Fateha on the first day of session held after the death of a member.

“This is done to honour the late member of the National Assembly. I will act in accordance with the constitution on the no confidence motion.”
