ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar ended the ban on seven lawmakers entry to the parliament.
Addressing a press conference in Parliament on Thursday, he said that he was not partial and gives opportunity to all equally. "I cannot throw anyone out of the House," he said.
The speaker urged the government and the opposition to respect the Code of the House. "All lawmakers should listen to one another," he added. He said that it was right of the opposition to move the no-confidence move against Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. "Let's see how many votes are cast against him," he said.
Asad Qaisar said that whatever happened was not a good omen for democracy.
On Wednesday, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar had banned the entry of Ali Nawaz Awan (PTI), Faheem Khan (PTI), Abdul Majeed Khan (PTI), Ali Gohar Khan (PML-N), Sheikh Rohale Asghar (PML-N), Chaudhary Hamid Hameed (PML-N) and Syed Agha Rafiullah (PPP).
