National hero Arshad Nadeem accorded rousing welcome on return from Tokyo Olympics

LAHORE (92 News) – National hero Arshad Nadeem was accorded warm welcome on his return after finishing fifth in the men's javelin throw event at the Tokyo Olympics.

Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, the Pakistan Athletics Federation president, relatives and people welcomed him at Lahore Airport.

On his arrival in his hometown Mian Channu, he was given a warm welcome by the people.

Talking to the media, Olympian Arshad expressed the resolve to perform better after overcoming shortcomings.

The government has announced a jackpot of Rs 10 million for the Olympian.
