National players want govt to focus on hockey

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan National Hockey team player Awais-ur-Rehman has Tuesday demanded the government to focus on hockey.

Talking to 92 News, Awais-ur-Rehman said that he wished to score a goal against India which Almighty Allah fulfilled his wish.

He said that the national hockey can regain its lost charm but it needed to be promoted like cricket, adding that the government should focus on this.
