National Security Committee to meet on Pak-Iran tension tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) has been called on the Pak-Iran tension on Friday.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will presid over the meeting to be held at 2:45pm, while Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and the services chiefs will also be present. During the meeting, the forum will be briefed about the Pak-Iran tension.

On the other hand, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq summoned a meeting of the federal cabinet on the security situation on Friday.

According to sources, the meeting will be held at 2pm tomorrow. During the meeting, security officials will brief the cabinet on the Pak-Iran tension. Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will take the cabinet into confidence over the future strategy for the Pak-Iran tension.
