National treasury plunderers to be held accountable: Punjab CM
LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that the people who plundered national treasury will be held accountable.
In a statement, CM Buzdar said that the opposition parties have no agenda and the past rulers did nothing for the betterment of public in their tenures. "Now corrupt elements are only worried about protecting their looted wealth," he added.
The Punjab CM said that menace of corruption has pushed Pakistan backward but now corrupt people will not be allowed to disrupt development of the country.
He further said that Pakistan would not be sinking in the foreign debts if past rulers were transparent and honest. Ending corruption and favoritism is a must for development of the country, he stressed.
