Nawab of Kalabagh’s 400-year-old Bohar Bangla inundated by floodwater

KALABAGH (92 News) – The floodwater inundated 400-year-old Bohar Bangla of Nawab of Kalabagh on Monday. However, no step has been taken to save the historical heritage by the government. The floodwater entered the rooms, courtyard and gardens of Bohar Bangla. The Bohar Bangla administration said that they had repeatedly informed the government about the impending flood, but the government did not take any step. The employees shifted the precious antiques to safe places, but major parts of the building submerged. Locals told 92 News that tourists from across the country visited the historical site. They said that timely steps by government could have saved the building from disaster.
