Nawaz declares NAB law as “black law”

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday declared the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) law as “Black Law”. Talking to media outside the accountability court on Friday, he said that the anti-graft watchdog’s black law was made against him, adding that he wouldn’t have been standing here if he had done corruption. Once again taking a jibe at the judiciary, the former PM said that did Supreme Court take notice how Senate Chairman was elected. Sharif said that the hands of some were being tied while others are left open. “I envy the statement of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar pertaining to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and it should be implemented,” he added. Nawaz went on to say that he never retracted from his statement or took U-turn, adding they were ideological people and he also had ideological people around him. The  ex-PM said that the ruling PML-N will not let the upcoming elections to be delayed at any cost, adding that every political party should have level playing field in the elections.
