ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court on Tuesday granted four-day exemption to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz from attending the hearing of Avenfield reference. During the proceedings today, the court gave four day exemption from appearance to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. The accountability court has adjourned the hearing of Avenfield reference Sharif family till tomorrow (on Wednesday). Earlier, Khawaja Haris rejoined the legal team to represent former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in NAB references. Khawaja Haris moved a petition in the NAB court requesting it to quash his earlier application through which he sought to recuse himself from representing the erstwhile PM in three corruption references. The lawyer expressed his reservations before the court. He said that the JIT report has consisted so many viewpoints so this report could not be part of the references case. He further said that the Supreme Court gave one month for completing this trial period. "We have only nineteen days left, we will do whatever we can," he said. On June 11, he had recused himself from fighting the ex-prime minister's case, citing different reasons.
