Nawaz, Maryam again transferred Adiala as parole ends

LAHORE (92 News) – Convicted former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar again transferred to Adiala jail after the five-day parole ends on Monday (today). The convicts granted five-day prolonged parole by the Punjab government ended at 4pm today, the convicted Sharif trio taken to Adiala jail again. A special plane, with Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Safdar, had flown from Lahore Allama Iqbal airport. After landing, the convicts were taken to Adiala jail to resume their sentence in the Avenfield corruption reference. Earlier, a convoy of cars carrying the three left Jati Umra earlier afternoon where scores of PML-N leaders were present to see off their leaders. The security was tightened around the premises. The five-day parole, granted by the Punjab government to Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Safdar to attend Begum Kulsoom's funeral, ends today. The parole of the three will end at 4pm. Three persons were allowed to go with Nawaz and Maryam, however, Hamza Shehbaz, Salman Sand Yousaf Abbas will go with them to say “Good Bye”. The sources also said that Shehbaz Sharif will go with them till Adiala jail. The three are currently serving sentences in Adiala jail since July in the Avenfield reference.
