Nawaz, Modi to meet on sidelines of SCO summit on July 10

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will meet his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Russia on July 10. According to Foreign Office spokesperson, the meeting scheduled on the request of the Indian PM, will discuss the overall situation of the region and matters of mutual interest. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will lead the Pakistan delegation to the Meeting of the Heads of States Council of the Shanghai Coope­ration Organisation (SCO) in Ufa on 9-10 July 2015,” the Foreign Office said in a statement. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will travel to Ufa for the two-day summit of the regional security bloc. This would also be the first visit by the prime minister to Russia since his election in 2013.
