Nawaz should quit to save system, says Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-Q provincial president Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that Nawaz Sharif should quit so that the system could be saved.

Addressing the PML-Q central consultative body meeting on Sunday, he said that the democracy would run in a better way after quitting him.

“The prime minister and his few colleagues will be responsible if any harm caused to the system,” he added.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that Nawaz Sharif tries to hide himself behind democracy whenever he is caught.

PML-Q president Ch Shujaat said that their doors were open for all Leaguers, inviting good people of the PML-N to the party.

He said that it was time to unite all factions of the PML.

The PML-Q president said that they would accept the verdict of the SC. “A majority of the opposition parties are on the same page over the resignation of the prime minister,” he maintained.
