Nawaz Sharif endorses approval of resolution against court verdict in parliament

LONDON (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif on Thursday endorsed the approval of a resolution against the court verdict in the parliament, saying that the parliament had approved the resolution rightly.

Talking to the media, he said the parliament should told the court that it was a supreme institution.

On Thursday, the National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution against the verdict announced by three-member bench of the Supreme Court.

The resolution was presented by MNA Khalid Hussain Magsi. The resolution, endorsing the verdict announced by four judges of the SC, demanded that an unwanted interference in political matters should be stopped.

Meanwhile, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that he respects the opinion of Nawaz Sharif, but a reference should not be filed against the judges.
